Classical beauty.  The new owners of this renovated home wanted a garden in which they could relax, entertain and enjoy the fruits of their labour.  The garden had been neglected for a number of years and various changes in levels made the garden difficult to use effectively. GFE was commissioned to design and construct a timeless low maintenance garden that was also functional. Down the side of the house raised beds were constructed and planted with espaliered fruit trees, herbs and vegetables. A curved swimming pool was installed with Urbanstone paving and screened from neighbouring homes by advanced pleached Magnolias.

A new patio was constructed to cover the sunken entertaining area providing ample seating for large family gatherings with steps leading to the family lawn. Extensive earthworks were required to transform the existing front garden to a classical beauty with raised limestone planters, an in-built seat, pear trees, topiary and soft buffalo lawn highlighting the beautiful roses and hardy colourful blooms beneath.
