Garden Week - Central Display Kings Park 2001

Colin Barlow of GFE was once again commissioned by the Nursery Industry Association of WA to design a central display for Garden Week in Kings Park. The lake was adorned with imposing sandstone and limestone sculptures that appeared to be floating on water. A herd of elephants was seen stomping across the blue dyed water and bronze maidens graced the edges of the lake while lions guarded the entrances to garden week. Masses of the new seasons' potted colour filled the edges of the lake and the island. Strict environmental conditions were overcome to deliver yet another inspiring central display.
