Spearwood

Village Green. To create an intimate mini village garden set away from a busy road was the essence of the brief for this complex in Spearwood which melds small blocks and modern architecture with a traditional village feel. Integration of shared and individually owned landscaped areas enhanced a feeling of community.

Factors including water efficient irrigation practices and indigenous planting were incorporated into the design to minimise the impact on the local environment.
