Tight Fit. The final stage extension of 35 deluxe beds at Shawford Lodge resulted in GFE being asked to redevelop the front entry, car park and area adjoining the existing facility.  Restricted space necessitated selecting plants that could perform in narrow areas, particularly around the car park area.  Formal, seasonal and colourful planting schemes were designed to complement the existing and new buildings. Restrictive timescales and water quality issues presented challenges for planting.
